Viscose and Polyester Metallic Jersey is a sophisticated tri-blend fabric that strikes a perfect balance between luxury, durability, and high-impact shimmer. By combining the softness of natural fibers with the strength of synthetics and the flair of metallic yarns, this fabric has become a staple for evening wear and "elevated" basics.
- Lustrous Appearance: The inclusion of metallic threads (often Lurex) gives the fabric a distinct glitter or "liquid metal" effect. Because it is a jersey knit, the shimmer moves fluidly with the body.
- Superior Drape: Thanks to the Viscose content, the fabric has a heavy, elegant "hang" similar to silk or rayon. It doesn’t stand stiffly; it flows.
- Enhanced Durability: The Polyester component acts as the backbone, providing wrinkle resistance, colour retention, and preventing the fabric from over-stretching or losing its shape over time.
- Comfortable Stretch: As a jersey knit, it possesses inherent mechanical stretch, making it forgiving on the figure and comfortable for long hours of wear.
