Virgin wool twill is perhaps the most iconic and recognisable weave in the world of high-end menswear and professional suiting. It is defined by its signature diagonal ribbing, which is created by offset interlacing of the warp and weft threads.
- Silhouette: It is the best fabric for achieving a sharp, military-grade crease in trousers or a structured, "armored" shoulder in a blazer. It holds its silhouette firmly rather than clinging to the body.
- Natural Elasticity: Even though this is 100% wool (no elastane), the steep diagonal weave provides a natural "mechanical stretch." It will give slightly when you move but will not "snap back" quite as aggressively as the stretch blends you have.
- High Density: This is a very tightly woven fabric. It is famously durable and holds its shape better than almost any other wool weave.

Deepest Black: Because of the raised ridges, the fabric creates tiny shadows between the ribs, making the black color look incredibly deep and solid
