This fabric is widely regarded as one of the most sophisticated choices for warm-weather tailoring. By blending Virgin Wool with Linen, Loro Piana creates a cloth that balances the texture of linen with the performance and structure of wool.

• Hand (Feel): It has a "dry" and crisp finish. It does not feel slick like a fine worsted wool, nor does it feel rough like low-grade linen. It feels airy and cool against the skin.
• Drape: Unlike pure linen, which can be stiff or drape heavily, the wool content allows this fabric to flow. It holds a crease in the trouser leg reasonably well but softens the silhouette of the jacket for a relaxed look.
• Visual Texture: The two fibers absorb dye differently. This often results in a subtle mélange or heathered effect, where the color looks rich and multi-dimensional rather than flat and uniform.
• Dry Touch: The linen component provides a slightly harder surface friction. This prevents the fabric from clinging to your legs or back when humidity rises, maintaining airflow channels.
