Loro Piana’s Virgin Wool & Linen blend is a masterclass in textile engineering, designed to solve the perennial problem of summer elegance. It bridges the gap between the casual, carefree nature of linen and the polished, resilient structure of wool.

• The Touch: Unlike pure linen, which can feel dry or brittle initially, the addition of superfine virgin wool creates a softer, more malleable hand. It feels cool and "dry" against the skin.
• The Drape: Pure linen tends to collapse and crease sharply. The wool component adds elasticity and "bounce," allowing the shirt to skim over the body rather than clinging to it. It holds a cleaner line, ensuring the collar stands up better and the cuffs maintain their shape.
• The Look: Visually, the fabric offers a sophisticated matte texture. You will often see the characteristic "slubs" (tiny, natural irregularities) of the linen, which give the shirt depth and character, preventing it from looking too flat or corporate.
