Virgin wool and cashmere Panama (often referred to as Hopsack) is a textile designed for those who value sensory comfort as much as visual sophistication. It is a "luxury-utility" fabric that uses a specific basketweave technique to create a surface that is both structurally interesting and incredibly soft.

• Virgin Wool (The Foundation): Provides the "body" and resilience. It ensures the fabric has enough weight to hang correctly and the strength to withstand regular wear.
• Cashmere (The Soul): The addition of cashmere (usually 5% to 30% of the blend) elevates the fabric from a standard business textile to a luxury item. It adds a "velvet-like" hand-feel and a subtle, soft-focus sheen that is unmistakable to the touch.
• Air-Permeable "Breathability": The Panama weave is inherently porous. Because the yarns are not packed as tightly as a gabardine or a twill, air can flow through the fabric easily. This makes it the premier choice for trans-seasonal garments that keep you warm in the shade but cool in the sun.
•  Drape: Fluid and "heavy-soft"—it flows with the body rather than standing stiff.
