Stretch Nylon/Polyamide Shiny Jersey is a sleek, form-fitting, and highly flexible knit fabric known for its prominent luster and exceptional elasticity. It is a staple in athletic and performance wardrobes. The defining characteristic of this textile is its liquid-like sheen, which catches the light dynamically as the fabric moves and stretches across the body.

  • Drape: Highly fluid and slinky, though usually worn tightly against the body rather than draped loosely.
  • Durability: Highly resistant to pilling and tearing, making it ideal for high-friction activities.
  • Nylon / Polyamide: These are two names for the same synthetic fiber. Polyamide provides the fabric with incredible tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and a very smooth, cool hand-feel. To achieve the "shiny" finish, manufacturers often use trilobal nylon yarns—fibers extruded in a triangular shape that reflect light much more effectively than standard round fibers.
  • Moisture Management: Nylon is naturally hydrophobic; it wicks sweat away from the body and dries quickly.
