This specific blend, often referred to as P/V Lining—is the workhorse of high-end tailoring. By combining the durability of polyester with the breathable, silk-like feel of viscose, this fabric offers a premium interior finish for structured garments.

• The Twill Weave: Unlike plain weave linings, the "thick twill" construction features a distinct diagonal ribbing. This makes the fabric weightier, more opaque, and significantly more durable than standard lightweight linings.
• Exceptional Durability: The "thick" twill construction uses a higher thread count and a denser weave pattern. This results in superior abrasion resistance, meaning it won't thin out or "pilling" even after years of friction against trousers or shirts.
• Dimensional Stability: Thanks to the polyester component, this fabric holds its shape remarkably well. It doesn't stretch out of place or sag over time, ensuring the interior of a coat looks as tailored as the exterior.
• High Colour Retention: This blend takes dye exceptionally well. It is known for its "rich" colours and its ability to resist fading from perspiration or dry cleaning chemicals.
