Metallic Viscose Organdy is a specialized, lightweight textile that beautifully marries structural crispness with a glamorous shimmer. It is an elevated variation of traditional organdy, woven primarily from viscose fibers and interwoven with metallic yarns to create a sheer fabric with a distinct, luminous presence.

• Viscose Base: Unlike traditional organdy (which is typically cotton), using viscose—a semi-synthetic fiber derived from wood pulp—gives the fabric a slightly silkier, smoother hand-feel while maintaining breathability.
• The Organdy Weave: Organdy is characterized by a plain, open weave that is treated to have a stiff, crisp, and wiry finish. This gives the fabric a transparent, sheer appearance and allows it to hold sharp shapes and volumes without collapsing.
• Drape: Crisp and structural; it stands away from the body rather than clinging to it.

• Metallic Integration: Metallic threads (often Lurex or a similar metalized synthetic) are woven into the fabric. Depending on the design, this can create an all-over iridescent sheen, a subtle twinkle, or pronounced metallic pinstripes and motifs that catch the light dynamically.
