• Properties: It is incredibly breathable and has a "matte" finish compared to synthetic blends. Because it is a natural fiber, it becomes softer over time and develops a gentle, lived-in character.
• Performance: It provides excellent wind protection due to the tight weave but relies on its density rather than a coating for water resistance.
• Properties: It has a superior drape and a natural elasticity that allows it to resist wrinkling better than cotton. It is naturally thermoregulating—keeping you warm in winter and cool in transitional weather.
• Performance: It has a subtle, sophisticated sheen and is highly resilient; a wool gabardine garment can hold its sharp, tailored shape for decades.
