Brushed cotton twill is a highly versatile and comfortable fabric that combines the rugged durability of a twill weave with a distinctively soft, cozy finish. It is a staple in both apparel and home textiles, particularly favored during the cooler months.
- Durability: The interlacing structure makes twill incredibly strong, tear-resistant, and better at hiding stains and resisting wrinkles compared to standard plain-woven fabrics.
- Drape: Twill tends to drape beautifully and conform well to the body, making it excellent for structured clothing.
- Supreme Softness: This process transforms the texture, making the fabric feel incredibly soft and plush against the skin—very similar to flannel (in fact, many cotton flannels are made using a brushed twill).
- Insulation: The raised fibers trap small pockets of air, making brushed cotton twill much warmer and more insulating than its unbrushed counterparts.
Application: Flannel Shirt, Sweatshirt, Blanket, Light Upholstery and more.
