Polyester Cool Wire Knitted Fabric (often referred to in the textile industry as "cooling yarn," "ice silk," or "cooling polyester knit") is a highly engineered performance textile designed specifically for temperature regulation and moisture management.

• Engineered Fiber Cross-Sections: Standard polyester fibers are perfectly round, but cooling yarns are extruded with special shapes (like a cross, star, or scalloped edge). This dramatically increases the surface area of the fiber and creates microscopic channels. These channels pull sweat away from the skin via capillary action and spread it across the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates rapidly.
• Knit Construction: Because the fabric is knitted rather than tightly woven, it consists of interlocking loops of yarn. This creates a porous, breathable structure that allows warm, humid air trapped against the body to escape quickly (convection) while allowing cool air to flow in.
• Superior Moisture-Wicking: It actively moves sweat away from the body and dries incredibly fast, preventing the clammy, sticky feeling associated with traditional synthetic fabrics.
• High Stretch and Drape: The knitted construction gives the fabric excellent multi-directional stretch, elasticity, and a soft, fluid drape that moves with the body.
