Stiff cotton organdie is a fabric that stands apart with its remarkable crispness and inherent structure. It has a certain paper-like quality that allows it to stand away from the body or hold pleats and folds with impressive resilience. While still retaining the characteristic lightweight and translucent nature of organdie, the cotton fibres lend it a slightly more matte finish compared to the often lustrous silk or synthetic varieties.
